Summer Reading 2022
Don’t let the kids have all the fun this summer! Join our 2022 Adult Summer Reading Program and show off your inner reading explorer!
Adult summer reading runs from Saturday, June 25 to Sunday, August 21. Anyone 18 or older with a valid Old Bridge Public Library card is eligible to participate.
Read books that you enjoy! Audiobooks, eBooks & graphic novels count too. After you register, enter the title & author of each book you read. Optionally add a review.
Prizes include gift cards to local restaurants, plus the grand prize of beach package!

All prize drawings will be held the week of August 21. Winners will be notified by telephone.
NJ HealthConnect iPads are here:
In order to tackle the inequities in our healthcare system, the Old Bridge Public Library is proud to provide iPads through our partnership with NJ HealthConnect@yourlibrary!
These iPads allow you to:
- Obtain access to telehealth apps, which can connect you to a doctor 24/7
- Read health information in your language
- Monitor COVID updates
- Access crisis hotlines
- Obtain mental health support
- Access teen help
- Utilize meeting apps, such as Zoom and Google Meet
In order to prevent any personally identifying information from being stored,:
- sign in ability is disabled
- password saving is disabled
- a manual reboot can be done by each user
Upon return, library staff will wipe out the iPad between users. The iPads are sanitized upon return.
The iPads are CIPA-complaint and the telehealth apps are HIPAA-compliant.

Monthly Book Discussions:
Novels at Night book discussion group will have its first meeting on Monday, September 19th @ 7 pm. This group will meet the third Monday of each month at 7 pm to discuss the selected book, and will be moderated by a librarian. September’s novel is “Ask Again, Yes” by Mary Beth Keane. Standard print and large print copies are available at the circulation desk.

The Library hosts several game & hobby clubs each week. These clubs are open to everyone, regardless of skill level. New members are always welcome.
