Excel 2007 – Basic & Advanced: Pre-requisite: Microsoft Word Basics or some computer experience.
Excel is a spreadsheet computer application. In Basic, topics will include: Inserting text, finding averages, finding totals, displaying cell formulas, and saving your document. Advanced will cover: displaying cell formulas, changing column width, changing row height, and using the chart wizard.

PowerPoint 2007: Pre-requisite: Computer Basics for PC’s or some computer experience.
PowerPoint is a complete presentation graphics package. Presentations consist of a series of slides that contain different elements such as text, clipart, and wordart. The class includes; different ways of viewing your presentation, creating a new presentation, saving your presentation, spell checking, choosing a design template, adding transition effects, adding clipart, and printing.

Computer Basics: Pre-requisite: None
This class discusses the basic computer parts you need to know about to use the computer effectively. It will consist of hands-on training in a Windows environment, including handling the mouse, and inserting and removing floppy disks and CD-ROMs.

E-Mail Basics: Pre-requisite: Internet Basics, or some Internet experience.
Another newly offered class! Learn the basics of creating an email account, writing a message, including attachments, sending, and receiving messages.

Internet Basics: Pre-requisites: Computer Basics and Intro to Windows, or some computer experience.
This class provides an overview of the Internet and the World Wide Web. It discusses the use of Web browsers and provides hands-on training using the browser’s navigational tools, URLs, hyperlinks, bookmarks, and search engines.

Microsoft Word 2007 — Basics & Advanced: Pre-requisite: Computer Basics for PC’s, or some computer experience.
Microsoft Word is a computer program used for word processing. The basic class includes creating and saving documents, retrieving and modifying documents, deleting and entering text, spell check and thesaurus features, changing font type, size, and color, and previewing and printing. Advanced continues with graphics, margins and other tips.
