New Jersey Author Series: Rutgers Since 1945

October 7 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Once a small, private college for men in the 1940s, Rutgers University is now one of the largest public universities in the country.  Throughout recent years, Rutgers has undergone significant transitions to become the university it is today.  Dr. Paul G.E. Clemens, a professor of history at Rutgers University, chronicled these transitions in his book Rutgers Since 1945: A History of the State University of New Jersey.  Join us as Dr. Clemens recounts the events that have shaped Rutgers’ evolution.  Copies of his book will be available for purchase and autographing after the program.
