Old Bridge, NJ – June 15, 2017 – Elton John and Carole King concerts will be broadcast at the Old Bridge Public Library through the Qello Concerts online streaming resource on the Library’s new state-of-the art audio system.

On Thursday, June 22 at 6pm, Elton John’s “Million Dollar Piano” concert will be shown, featuring the singer’s classic tracks from his career, including Good Bye Yellow Brook Road, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and I’m Still Standing. Some songs are performed solo, some with his band and others feature percussionist Ray Cooper. This concert was filmed during John’s residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and shows John as the ultimate live showman.

On Monday, June 26th at 11am, Carole King’s “Welcome to My Living Room” will be shown. Recorded in 2005, this film is an intimate, unadorned glimpse into the singer’s Living Room World Tour, and features documentary footage and 21 of her greatest hits, including Beautiful, So Far Away and It’s Too Late.

The Library recently enhanced its community meeting room with a new 130-inch motorized screen, five high definition speakers, a 4K projector and new video camera. In addition to Qello Concert events, the new technology will also enrich the Library’s monthly Second Saturday concerts, weekly movie screenings and other programming.
