Old Bridge, NJ – Jan. 20, 2017 – On Sat. Feb, 4th, The Old Bridge Public Library will once again participate in National Take Your Child to the Library Day. There will be a variety of events geared for the whole family from 10am-5pm.

The first 100 children to show their Library card at the Children’s Desk will receive a goodie bag courtesy of JEI Learning Center of Old Bridge. Children will also have the opportunity to get a Library card if they don’t have one.  Activities will include a “Let a Smile be Your Umbrella Story Time” at 11am, a LEGO Lab at noon, and crafts hosted by the Old Bridge Girl Scouts from 11am-1pm. There will also be a scavenger hunt where kids can follow the clues to victory and then be entered to win a prize pack from JEI Learning Center.

“This event is in its sixth year and keeps growing bigger each year,” noted Youth Services Supervisor Pham Condello. “It’s a great opportunity for families to visit the Library, familiarize themselves with all we offer and enjoy the activities together.”
