Old Bridge, NJ – April 7, 2017 – The Old Bridge Public Library will feature two unique programs geared for and about teens this month.
On Thurs. April 20th, there will be a “DIY Jell-O Lip Gloss” workshop at 7pm. Kids in grades 6-12 are invited to participate and learn how to make their own flavorful, colorful lip gloss using a few simple ingredients, including Jell-O. The Library will host a program entitled, “Teens and Anxiety: Strategies to Decrease Stress for Your Teen” on Sun. April 23rd at 2pm. Teens often worry about school, friends, sports, and career and college decisions. Designed for parents and older (16+) teens, this session will address strategies to decrease teenage anxiety. Such anxiety can lead to stress, poor performance in school and substance abuse. Local pediatrician Ritu Khullar, MD, will provide helpful insights and coping skills, including diet, natural interventions and counseling.
The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
