Old Bridge, NJ – Feb. 27, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library will host two entertainment events in March which will appeal to fans of trivia and gospel music.
The Library’s popular Adult Trivia Nights will continue on Wed. March 14th from 7-8:30pm. Open to adults ages 18 and up, the night will feature a game show atmosphere and trivia in many categories. Teams will consist of up to six players; participants may form their own teams or be placed on a wild card team when they arrive. Light refreshments will be served and small prizes awarded. On Sat. March 17th at 2:30pm, the Library’s Second Saturday Concert Series will feature “This Train is Bound for Glory,” a performance exploring the roots of gospel music. (The event is occurring on the third Saturday due to NJMakers Day activities on Sat. March 10th). Acoustic guitarist/vocalist Nina Romano returns to the Library with bassist Tim Smith for a musical celebration of this vital form of American music that has strongly influenced musicians from every generation. Romano attended the Berklee School of Music and has performed professionally with Smith in their band Nina Et cetera in various venues for the past ten years (www.ninaetcetera.com). Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry to this free concert.
The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
