Old Bridge, NJ – Sept. 7, 2016 – The Old Bridge Public Library will present three important health and wellness-related programs this month.
On Sept. 15th at 7pm, the Library will host a “Solutions to Sugar Cravings” session. Topics discussed will include why sugar cravings occur at certain times, successful tips on how to stop the cravings, getting cravings under control, how and what to eat, and how frame of mind helps determine how food is processed within the body. The program will be presented by Personal Trainer and Nutritionist Francesca Locicero, who is certified by The American College of Sports and Medicine and The Holistic MBA Institute for Health Coaching.
On Sat. Sept. 17th at 11am, there will be a program entitled, “Get the Buzz on Zika.” Lori Karabincak from the Middlesex County Department of Public Safety and Health will discuss the facts and myths surrounding Zika and will offer tips for mosquito bite prevention. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
A “Personal Reinvention Workshop” will be held on Wed. Sept. 21 from 7-8:30pm. Led by Edil Solis, Director of Solis Consulting Group, the session will encourage personal reinvention for bringing new purpose and fulfillment in life. The workshop will teach the importance of skills such as goal setting, organization, proper time management, and self-improvement to allow for development of multiple strategies to adopt positive thinking and optimism.
The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted “Best Public Library in Middlesex County” by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
