Old Bridge, NJ – March 16, 2016 – The Old Bridge Public Library will offer a program entitled “Managing Arthritic Knee and Hip Pain Without Surgery” on Fri. April 1 at 10:30am.
Dr. Leonard Somarriba and Dr. John Scafidi from ProFysio will present strategies on how to manage arthritic knee and hip pain and avoid surgical intervention. ProFysio, a physical rehabilitation facility, is located in Aberdeen.
Dr. John P. Scafidi has been practicing physical therapy for nearly 10 years. In 2012, he was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT), in the field of Physical Therapy. He is one of only 13 Physical Therapists in New Jersey, and the only one in Monmouth County, that is a full fellow of the AAOMPT.
Dr. Leonard J. Somarriba began his clinical practice in 2006 after receiving his BS and his Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. In addition, Dr. Somarriba completed his fellowship training in Manual Physical Therapy in 2009 at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, which is affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University.
The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted “Best Public Library in Middlesex County” by the readers of the Home News Tribune. The Library is open seven-days-a-week and is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.
