Old Bridge, NJ – May 26, 2016 – The multi-talented, versatile singer and musician Richie Balin will perform at the Old Bridge Public Library on Sat. June 11th at 2:30pm.
The appearance is part of the Library’s popular Second Saturday concert series. In addition to being an accomplished vocalist, Balin is a songwriter and also plays the guitar, keyboard, saxophone and trumpet. He will perform original songs as well as selections from pop, country and classic rock music. A New Jersey native, Balin is a recording artist with five records that have appeared on the national US music charts. He regularly performs around the country in casinos including the Golden Nugget and Foxwoods, as well as in clubs, cruise lines and at corporate events and benefits. The free concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Library but attendees are requested to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Old Bridge Food Pantry. Upcoming Second Saturday performances include Italian Tenor Salvatore Chiarelli on July 9th and The Wag on August 13th.
