Old Bridge, NJ – Nov. 22, 2016 – The Old Bridge Public Library will welcome back Joe Gilligan and Donnie Farraro and their “Sinatra and His Friends” show on Sat. Dec. 10th at 2:30pm.
The two will perform as part of the Library’s ongoing Second Saturday Concert Series. The show will be narrated by Gilligan and sung by Farraro, as they entertain audiences with stories about Sinatra’s life, and the songs he made famous that made him one of the most renowned singers of the 20th century. In addition, it will feature tunes from his contemporaries including Patsy Cline, Dean Martin, Pat Boone, Dion & the Belmonts, Johnny Mathis and Perry Como. Gilligan and Farraro will also share amusing stories and interesting facts about these musical greats. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry to this free concert.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joe and Donnie back to the Library,” noted Library Director Nancy Cohen. “Their show was probably the most popular one we’ve ever had at the Library and we look forward to another fantastic and very well-attended performance.”
