The Old Bridge Public Library will host an appearance by NY author Chris Babu, known for his young adult novels The Initiation and The Expedition on Sunday, December 9th at 2pm.

Babu will discuss his books and his journey from a career on Wall Street to writing a dystopian, post-apocalyptic trilogy. A question and answer session will follow the program. Copies of his books will be available for purchase and autographs.

A Stephen King devotee, Babu is also a lifelong horror flick fan. After graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he worked as a mortgage-backed securities trader for Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. He began writing in earnest while enduring 22 root-canals in 2015 and he left Wall Street to focus on writing exclusively in 2016. His debut YA dystopian thriller, The Initiation, was published in February, 2018 by Permuted Press. The sequel, The Expedition, will be published in December, 2018, and the final book in the trilogy is expected in fall, 2019. More information can be found at www.chrisbabu.com.
